Good experiences and bad experiences

Recently, the company has been plagued with one trouble after another, and it seems that every week brings some minor annoyances. When faced with negative events, we undoubtedly feel pain, while positive events naturally bring joy. But does this mean that painful experiences are necessarily better than happy ones?

Paula recently recommended a book to me called "Living Untethered," which left a deep impression on me. It has an accurate description of how to understand and accept those less-than-ideal experiences:

This uncomfortable inner reaction isn't bad; it's just a different vibration. Just as some colors make you feel comfortable while others seem jarring. Colors aren’t inherently good or bad; they're simply different frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum. You can learn to adapt to these different vibrations. A rattlesnake doesn't rattle its tail endlessly to warn you; it comes, and then it goes — and so does the uncomfortable vibration. Then something else happens. You live in a place full of growth experiences. You're simply experiencing the process of creation, watching how it enters your life and flows past you.

Original text as follows:

This uncomfortable inner reaction isn’t bad, per se—it’s just a different vibration. Just like some colors are soothing and others are harsh. Colors aren’t bad or good; they are just different vibration rates of the electromagnetic spectrum. You can learn how to be comfortable with these different vibrations. A rattlesnake is not going to stay there rattling your whole life. It’s going to come, and it’s going to go—and its uncomfortable vibrations are going to go with it. Then something else will happen. You live in a happening place filled with growthful experiences. You are simply in there experiencing creation as it comes in and passes through you.

The key to entrepreneurship lies in being able to survive for a long time. The process of striving to survive is about overcoming difficulties one by one, and breaking through personal limits again and again. “Just like everything you learn makes you smarter, every experience you have makes you wiser.” Every challenge the company faces is an opportunity to make this organization stronger. It’s a chance for the team to grow, and also an opportunity to identify and promote partners with the potential to take on major responsibilities. The more such partners we have, the greater the future blueprint the company will be able to draw.
